La Valmasque

A magnificient place

The farm is about 400 years old and has recently been restored in the traditional Provençal style. It is situated about 2 kilometres outside the small picturesque village of Lacoste.

It is in a superb situation, right in the heart of the Luberon's regional nature reserve, offering numerous opportunities for hiking. Also, it is only a few kilometres from some of the most beautiful villages in the Vaucluse (Gordes,Roussillon, Bonnieux, Menérbes).

The accommodation has a swimming pool at your disposal, shared, only, with the owners, and has it's own entrance, guaranteeing perfect privacy.

From the garden (7000m²) there are magnificent views over vineyards, cherry orchards and the Luberon Hills. It is not overlooked, ensuring complete relaxation and tranquillity.

The swimming pool (5x10m) Is surrounded with a fence and has an open pool house equipped with a sink, barbecue, washing machine, shower and toilet.

The Interior

It has been restored in it's original style. The main room consists of a fully equipped kitchen (oven, micro-wave oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and a circular dining table), also a sitting area with a double sofa-bed, armchair, and television.

Two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. A bathroom with shower and an independent toilet. Wooden parquet flooring throughout and antique wooden wall cupboards.

All rooms have electric heaters. Poële in wood in the main room.

Bed linen and towels are not provided.

Weekly rates

The shelter is available from 23 till 30 August 2008, from 13 till 27 September 2008 and finally from 4 till 11 October 2008.
