You find Bonnieux, one of its most beautiful villages. At the foot of the village “Joy” is situated in an exceptional panorama. From its terraces, as well as from the spacious gardens and the swimming pool, you can enjoy the view of the village of Lacoste and its famous castle, once belonging to the infamous Marquis de Sade, the starshaped lights of Gordes, the ocres of Rousillon. Further a field our mountain, le Mont Ventoux with its white cap invites you to take exploring trips.

All around these villages, the Luberon form a perfect nest of the valley, offering you its lavender fields and cherry orchards, and the ever changing colours of its vineyards.

The enclosed gardens of app. 7000 m2 displaying beautiful flowers, offer you several cosy corners for you to read, paint or daydream. On a small scale you find all the marvels of Provence: a small lavender field, olive trees, cherry trees and vines full of succulent grapes for you to pick. You will enjoy your siesta surrounded by the flowery fragrances, invited by the shady spots in the gardens or by the pool.

In the house and gardens there is that certain atmosphere, from which beautiful holidays are made: calm, sunshine, space, convivial ambiance, and the beauty of nature.

On the ground floor

- The blue bedroom : A bedroom of 20 m², furnished with antique family furniture, a double bed (1,80 m), with an adaptable lifting
mechanism, large bathroom and separate toilet.

- A separate bedroom : The yellow room, with its own entrance and private terrace, furnished with two (single) beds, in the “Provencal” style, shower, sauna and toilet.

Access to :
- A covered terrace by the entrance
- A large hall, divided into two salons for your tea
- A spacious living room, 50 m², leading to the long terrace, the swimming pool and the park.

On the first floor

Two rooms: the rose bedroom and the green bedroom, the solarium (an enclosed private terrace), a large bathroom and separate toilet. Altogether: an apartment, ideal for a family or two sets of friends. These rooms can also be rented separately.

From the terrace of the rose bedroom the view is amazing. Here you can sunbathe, eat, and children can play in total safety.

The rooms are spacious and decorated in good taste. Like in the yellow room there is TV and fridge.

It is possible to make yourself some snacks “at home” after a day of exploring. - You will be surprised at how many things you can see and do within just a few kilometres, be it sportive activities or pure idleness.

Breakfast is served either on your private terrace, extending from your rooms, (the one of the yellow room is very big and leads directly to the large lawn) in cosy intimacy, as you awake. Or it may be served somewhere else in the garden, at a table of your choice.

Places to go

Bonnieux is in the heart of the Luberon, and you must take the time to visit all the villages. But the big city is also very near, and what a city!
Aix en Provence is just under an hour away, full of things to see along the route.
Avignon takes just ¾ hour to reach - the sea is not too far - everything is possible during a day of going sightseeing.

How to get here
If you come from Marignane airport: take the direction Lyon on the motorway, turn off towards Cavaillon. Follow the direction Apt on the RN 100 and turn off towards Bonnieux. Go through the village, direction Menerbes-Lacoste. Carry on app. 1,5 km, and at the junction turn right (direction Lacoste), and you will see the sign “Joy”.
If you arrive by the A7: exit Avignon Sud; direction Cavaillon-Apt, follow the RN 100 to the roundabout with the sign for Bonnieux and so on…
If you come from the railway station in Avignon: Take the RN 100 direction Cavaillon-Apt until the roundabout; where the sign Bonnieux appears and so on…
