Presentation of "Le domaine de la Garelle"

Le Domaine de la GARELLE is situated in the Luberon Mountains 35 km east from Avignon between the municipalities of Oppède and Ménerbes. The Domain extends today over 15 hectares of vineyards distributed in 4 soils: Courniole, Vallats, Vicarie and Beyère. They are planted on argilo-rocky grounds and limestone. A very particular soil where for more than 200 years the vineyard is cultivated.

For the elaboration of our red and rosé "Côtes du Luberon" the harmonious mixture of the syrah, grenache and old Carignan, the traditional vines of the Vallée du Rhône, give red wines with character and fruity rosÚ wines …

For our white "Côtes du Luberon", the joining of Vermentino and white Ugni, allows to extract these aromas while preserving the coolness …

The Domain is proud today of obtained results, more than 60 golden medals, Silver and Bronze, at the Competitions of Paris, Mâcon, Orange and Avignon came to reward more than a work, a passion.

In June 2008, Mr. Alain Audet buy the domain with the same concern of quality. Frédéric Blanc stays cellar master.
